Introducing Hallmark Cherries
We are an Australian family owned and operated business that produces exceptionally high quality Cherries for local and export markets through sustainable crop management practices and modern post-harvest cooling and food safety accredited packing facilities.
We are located in the Young Hilltops region (375km South West of Sydney) on the NSW South West Slopes of the Great Dividing Range. Young ‘The Cherry Capital of Australia’ is recognised throughout the cherry industry as being one of the finest fruit growing regions in Australia.
The Hall family have been growing Cherries for three generations. Jaspar and Win Hall established the first Cherry Orchard in 1960. Their son, Trevor Hall was a leader in the Australian Cherry industry, over his lifetime he was on the board for the NSW Cherry Growers Association, the board for the Australian Cherry Growers Association and the NSW representative on the Export committee.
Trevor Hall had a lifetime of invaluable and extensive horticultural knowledge, sustainable crop management systems, pest management systems, post-harvest cooling & packing knowledge, market knowledge and a genuine passion for Cherries.
Trevor's daughter Lucinda Burgess and her family are continuing Trevor's legacy of producing some of the finest quality Cherries produced in Australia.
Over this time the business name has evolved from Jaspar S. Hall & Sons to Hallmark Orchards to then Hallmark Cherries as we are known today.
The meaning of hallmark originates from a mark stamped on articles of gold, silver or platinum certifying their standard of purity. The meaning of hallmark along with the family name Hall was a name that would hold strong and true today. The Hallmark name is synonymous for the premium quality Cherries we produce.
